At Gems to Jewels, we provide evidence-based, trauma-informed programs that empower justice-impacted and at-risk youth across New Jersey. Through literacy, technology, mentorship, professional development, and community healing, our programs prepare young people for re-entry, resilience, and lifelong success.

Next Chapter Gems Book Club
A 12-week literacy and mentorship program that strengthens reading, vocabulary, and comprehension for youth ages 8–14. Includes reflection journals, cultural exposure, and an annual retreat.

RISE Program (Reintegration, Independence, Skills & Education)
A 12-week hybrid program that equips detained and at-risk youth with GED preparation, career readiness, and essential life skills. The program includes stipends, mentorship, and job placement support, creating pathways for both personal and professional development.

Healing Beyond Harm (CVI Program)
A community violence intervention and trauma-healing program for at-risk and detained youth. Through mentorship, arts, wellness, technology, and civic engagement, the program reduces recidivism and builds resilience.

Mind Reset: Healing Beyond Harm Youth Certificate
A 12-week program for detained youth that combines the Next Chapter Gems Book Club, personal and professional development workshops, and community violence intervention. Through mentorship, literacy, technology, wellness, and civic engagement, participants earn a certificate that prepares them for reentry, resilience, and future success.
